Express Entry: IRCC issues more invitations to PNP candidates
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another targeted draw through the Express Entry system, issuing 125 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) specifically to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). To be eligible for this round, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 784 and must have submitted their Express Entry profile before 6:12 p.m. (UTC) on September 12, 2024. Improvements in factors such as language proficiency or work experience can significantly boost a candidate's CRS score, making them more competitive in these draws. It is crucial for candidates to keep their profiles accurate and up to date, as any false or outdated information may lead to ineligibility. Misrepresentation—intentional or accidental—can result in serious consequences, including the loss of permanent resident status, revocation of Canadian citizenship, fines, or being barred from reapplying for immigration to Canada for a period of time.
